PowerbyProxi Group announced a strategic partnership for the development of wireless power solutions in September 2013. Samsung Electro-Mechanics is a world leading producer of high-tech intergrated components for electronic devices. PowerbyProxi is currently working with Samsung Electro-Mechanics to develop new wireless power solutions for application in Consumer Electronic devices.
PowerbyProxi Group and Linear Technologies announced in October 2013 a strategic partnership to develop wireless power systems for use in a range of applications and environments. As a result of this partnership, Linear Technology has introduced the LTC4120 integrated circuit that combines a wireless power receiver with a full-featured battery charger to implement the receiver side of a complete wireless power transfer system. PowerbyProxi is continuing to develop wireless power technology in partnership with Linear Technology Corporation.
PowerbyProxi Group signed a technology licensing agreement with Texas Instruments, a global manufacturer of embedded circuits and embedded processors, in January 2014. This agreement provides Texas Instruments with the opportunity to leverage PowerbyProxi’s resonant wireless power expertise and patents to add new products to its broad range of wireless power and charging solutions.
